It's early and as I get ready to go to the hotel to begin our day, I thought I'd take a minute to talk about how to start your day and how the morning can be so important!
1. What you eat for breakfast starts the tone for your day nutritionally. This is why it's important to have a balanced breakfast.
2. Start drinking water when you wake up. Get a head start on your daily hydration and increase your metabolism by drinking cold water.
3. Get your morning workout in. Chances are by the end of the day, you'll find an excuse as to why you can't get your evening workout in. Get it over with in the morning!
4. Plan! Begin thinking about how your day will go nutritionally. What will I have for lunch? Can I pack my lunch? What would be a great healthy dinner?
5. Smile! Start your day off on the right foot with a positive attitude. Think about what you do want and not about what you don't want!
