In the spirit of Mark's 40th birthday, I'm writing about growing old gracefully today. :) What are some of the things you want to work on in order to make sure you're active, young and agile later in life? Here's my list...
1. Keep Moving
2. Engage in a Sport or Activity that Has you Moving in All Directions or Planes of Motion ~ Tennis, Golf, Soccer, Dancing, Kickboxing and Sports Conditioning
3. Hydrate for Healthy Muscles, Organs and Skin
4. Challenge Your Balance
5. Ask Yourself if You Can... Push Your Body, Pull Your Body & Run for Your Life
6. Utilize Functional Training ~ Training that will have you moving in everyday life patterns.
7. Eat Fresh, Whole Foods
8. Limit Your Alcohol Intake ~ It Inhibits Your Immune System
9. Challenge Your Mind
10. Laugh and Play Often
